thedispatchers:

And be not weak hearted in pursuit of the enemy; if you suffer pain, then surely they (too) suffer pain as you suffer pain, and you hope from Allah what they do not hope; and Allah is Knowing, Wise.
Surah An-Nisa 104.

thepathofabeliever:

The pens have been lifted and the ink has become dry. Say this to yourself whenever up get too caught up in reality. You want, and I want, but Allah does what he wants. The point you seem to miss is that He will never do anything that will not benefit you. You hold onto your present as if it does not belong to you. You try to do the same with your future, but then you just get anxious. You fear letting go, even though there is someOne holding on for you. You want control over the unseen, even though you have no idea how to do so.
Have some tawakkul (faith in God’s plan). For a second, stop trying to be in control of every aspect of your life. Regardless of whether or not you are in charge of every second of it, life will continue to play. The plans that you have in mind will take place. They might not happen right when you want them to, or with the same people, but they will happen according to when it has been written for you. They will happen when God has planned. If you find that they never took place, evaluate your life. It might just be that your life is going well without them, and wanting them to happen would be forcing a plan that was not written in your book.
Right here, at this very moment, try to let go. Unclench your fists, take a deep breath, and let your pages unfold. Your book has been written to perfection. Relax, and allow the pages to turn.
